URANGA, Manuela

Manuela Uranga passed away peacefully in Alhambra, California, She was born in Tempe, Arizona. Manuela lived a long and eventful life. She loved to travel, read, play cards and board games, and the Dodgers. She watched the world change and yet her sense of humor, love of music, Jesus, family and friends never waivered.
She is predeceased by her husband Librado Uranga, mother Jesus Miranda, brothers Alfonso Leon and Joe Miranda, sister Guadalupe Magallanes, daughter in-law Dalia Uranga, grandson Steven Aveles, and granddaughter Manuelita Uranga. She is survived by her children, David Uranga, Lawrence Uranga, Steven Uranga, Lorraine Aceves, Cynthia Uranga, brothers Jessie Leon, Johnny Leon, sister Esther Villareal, sixteen grandchildren, twenty greatchildren, and twelve great great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on August 10, 2012 from 5:00-9:00 p.m., at Forest Lawn Memorial Park 21300 Via Verde Drive, Covina, California. The memorial services will be held on August 11, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. at the Church of our Heritage, Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
