Pamela Anne Macpherson, cherished daughter of Robert and Darlene Macpherson, passed away after a three year struggle with triple negative breast cancer. She was born in Oakland, CA where her father was stationed in the Navy during the Korean conflict. Pamela was raised in Long Beach attending Long Fellow Elementary, Hughes Middle and Poly High School. She earned a degree in Economics from U.C Santa Barbara. Pam was a location counselor for Merle Norman Cosmetics, an executive secretary for National Coach. Later she headed the Karoke division of Pioneer Electronics in its early stages. Pamela was currently employed as Project Manager/ Leader Coaching for Right Management in Newport Beach where she resided. She loved her family and friends, traveling, especially cruising, fine dining, her Audi and cruising Newport Bay in Duffy boats. She also enjoyed Jeopardy, Blues Festivals, her Kindle and Betty her loyal cat who stayed constantly by her side. Her idea of "roughing it" was slow room service. Those who knew and loved her will remember Pam for her beauty and intelligence. Pam had a spirit for fun and adventure. She had wit and courage. Pam had a beautiful smile that would light up the room. She is survived by her parents and brother, Mark. She was preceded by her brother, Kent. As per her request, burial is private.
