Patricia L. Nisbet
(nee Quick) Passed away February 1, 2013, fortified with the sacraments of the Holy Catholic Church. Born in Alhambra, CA, February 14, 1930. Patty spent her youth in Seal Beach, CA and moved to Long Beach in 1954, where she resided until her passing. Beloved wife of the late Donald H. Nisbet, retired Commander of Communications with the Long Beach Police Department. Dearest mother of Timothy W. Nisbet (Luster) and James M. Nisbet (Patti); loving grandmother of Melissa N. Nisbet and Kaitlyn H. Nisbet; step-grandmother of seven and great grandmother of three; best friend and sister-in-law of Sally Nisbet Landro (John). Preceded in death by her parents, James and Gertrude (nee Shields) Quick; her brother, James Quick and her sister, Alene Donahue (Tom). Patty passed away at home after a lengthy illness. Patty was an avid bike rider, competitive tennis player and relentless physical fitness advocate right up until the onset of her illness eight years ago. Our dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many. Patty will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Services provided by Westminster Memorial Park, 14801 Beach Blvd, Westminster, CA 92683.
