Richard (Dick) B. King

Born in Pierre South Dakota on August 25, 1917, called to be with our Lord February 20, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Elizabeth Ann King; daughter, Rebecca A. Morici; son, Robert O. King, deceased July 16, 2011; eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter. He owned several businesses in Long Beach and was President and /or active in National Association of Accountants, National Association of Cost Accounts, Kiwanis Club of Long Beach, Boy Scouts of America Palos Verdes Chapter, City of Long Beach Armed Services Commission, Long Beach Aquarium Society, Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, Long Beach Port Ambassadors, King's Office Supply and Equipment Co., King Printing Co., Crown Communications, Crown Consultants, Navy League, Pacific Hospital of Long Beach, Pacific Hospital of Long Beach Charitable Trust, Pacific Hospital Foundation, the Salvation Army Advisory Board, United States Air Force Association. His hobbies were billiards and traveling. He cherished his 95 years of time spent with such great happiness with his best friend, wife and love, Ann. Dick was interned at Green Hills Memorial Park.
