Richard E. Price
83, passed away September 4, 2013 in Yucaipa. Dick was born October 27, 1929 in San Bernardino and resided in Highland for many years. He worked in the automobile industry selling Hudsons at E. G. Price Motors and he retired from Center Chevrolet where he earned awards for top salesman. Dick also served in the U.S. Army. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Dick's pride and joy was his '32 Deuce Roadster that was featured in the December 1949 and September 1950 issues of Hot Rod Magazine. In Rodder's Journal, spring of 2012 issue, an eleven page spread featured the story of Dick and his beloved car.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Alice Price and daughter Carrie Kathleen Colburn. He is survived by his wife, Lucille of Highland, sons Richard of Boise, ID, Gary of Highland, Christopher of Winnemucca, NV, stepdaughter Judy Cline of Beaumont, CA, sister Judy Leonis of Redlands, nephews Dennis and Randy Brock, niece Vicki McHenry, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Special thanks to grandchildren Kimmi and Jason Chiriano for the love and care they gave to Dick.
A celebration of Dick's life will be held at the Redlands Shooting Park, 2125 N. Orange St., Redlands Saturday. October 5 from 1pm to 4pm.
