Robert Baughman Obituary
With sorrow we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Baughman, August 8, 1931 - June 28, 2017. Bob was born in Tekoa, Washington the fifth sibling of six. He enlisted in the Navy, serving four years. While stationed in San Diego, California he met the love of his life Mildred (Mim) whom he was married to for sixty three years. They raised three children in Carson, California, Anna (Rick), Ray-deceased (Sheri), and Neal. He had four grandchildren and one great grandchild. His remaining years were spent in Lakewood, California. Bob was owner and manager of A.P. Fischer Inc in Long Beach, an oil distributor for forty-five years. His vision and integrity were the keys to his success. Bob was a remarkable man who led a fulfilling life of travel and friends. His passions were many: master wood carver, builder, landscape designer, horticulturalist, and gardener. Our love for him will never end. I worked for Bob and Ray from 2000 to 2004. Bob was a kind stern smart fair man his wife so sweet and loving . I will never forget the baby shower him and Mim gave me as a single Mother. I wish I could have said goodbye He is greatly missed.

Bob was an excellent neighbor and business associate. He contributed to our neighborhood and ran a honest, ethical company. I always enjoyed our morning coffee get togethers. Bob was a stand up individual. May he rest in peace
