Rudy Dominguez Obituary

DOMINQUEZ-Rudy A. Dominguez, of Visalia, CA, born February 1, 1934, died in Whittier, CA on January 4, 2011. Rudy Dominguez leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Frances Dominguez, son Rudy Dominguez Jr. (married to Laurie Dominguez), son Ray Dominguez, daughter Elena Solis (married to Mike Solis), 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.Rudy was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He was a family oriented man who would do anything for his loved ones. Rudy was a man of great faith who worshipped at St. Mary's Catholic Church. He welcomed everyone into his home. Rudy entertained with his great cooking and infectious sense of humor. He will always be known as "The Best Chile Maker" in Whittier. Rudy will be deeply missed but the impact he made on his family and friends will carry on his legacy.

I think Talina said it best, while at the Rosary she said "you could feel the Love, and that every one there was because He Loved". What a great statement and so true, everyone there was there because Rudy had "loved" them. In each gesture, big or small-God's Light shone thru him to others. If you knew him before or for those that met him after "the monster", he was still a man like no other. Lucky for us, all three of his children and 10 grandchildren can carry on, because a role-model like that cannot be forgotten.
