Tony James Tarango
Passed away unexpectedly in Lima, Peru while on his dream vacation Wednesday, January 23rd, 2013. A native of San Bernardino, CA Tony was born December 19, 1970.
He graduated from Redlands High School in June 1988, and attended the Art Institute in Seattle, WA. Tony earned five union cards and enjoyed a variety of positions such as doing sound for Seattle Seahawks games, camera work for Good Morning America, and working for Microsoft when the campus in Redmond, WA was built. He had recently moved to San Diego, CA to be closer to his mother and grandmother. He also enjoyed spending some vacation time at the family home in Westwood, CA.
Tony is survived by his mother, Christine Swanson Tarango, his father Tony J. Tarango, Sr, grandmothers Delores Evans and Rita Tarango, sister Gena Tarango, brother Michael Tarango, half-sisters Denise Tarango-Mitchell and Terri Tarango, and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers
Donald J. Swanson and Janero (Jay) Tarango.
Tony's funeral was held February 9, 2013 at the Clear Creek Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with internment in Westwood Cemetery, Northern CA next to his great-grandparents Harold and Velda Moody. A celebration of life will be held at Yucaipa Christian Church 12954 Bryant St., Yucaipa, CA at 2:30PM Sunday, February 24, 2013.
