Joseph Anthony Spinelli

Joseph Anthony Spinelli passed away on Sunday, February 17th 2013. Joseph lived an incredible life and was an inspiration to all. He worked for the city of LB for 27 years, retired early due to heart disease. He attended the cardiac rehabilitation at Memorial Hospital and began to train and went on to carry the torch for the 1984 Olympics. His love for challenge pushed him further and a few years later he ran the Long Beach Marathon at age 64. When he put his mind to something he never gave up. He was a loving husband to his wife Mary Ellen until she passed in 2009. Joe was survived by his 4 children, Teresa, Jeffrey, Celia, Rosemarie and 5 grandchildren. He will be remembered and loved deeply. Please sign the guest book at www.presstelegram.com/obits.
