KING, Chester M.
Chester M. King, Jr. passed away
peacefully among family and friends on November 25, 2012. He was 85, and died at his home in Hacienda Heights. He was born in North Dakota on May 25,1927. He was happily married to Regina Black for 61 years before her passing in March 2012. Chester taught in the Hacienda/La Puente Unified School District for about 32 years. For many of those years, he taught special education students. His passions in life were his wife and family, playing golf, and spending the summers on his homestead in North Dakota. He was a big basketball nut too. He is survived by his four children, Tim, Kathy, Mike, and Carol; grandson, Mason; son-in-law Andy; brother Garrett. Funeral services will be held at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Mortuary in Rowland Heights on Dec. 1, 2012. Viewing is from 7:30-9:00 a.m. and the funeral starts at 9:00 a.m.
