Betty Warner, loving mother,
grandmother and friend, passed away July 13, 2013 in her 82nd year. She was born and raised in Chicago, IL and arrived in the Azusa/Covina are in 1963. She worked for Pacific Bell as an operator for 25 years. In her retirement she taught CCD for several years at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Irwindale, CA and was a faithful Parishioner of St. Louise until her illness in 2011. She was a long time volunteer at the Azusa Senior Center helping with meals on wheels and serving lunch in the cafeteria. She is survived by her 6 children; May Van Mullen of Cucamonga, CA; Mark Warner of Magnolia, DE; Laura Harrell of Azusa, CA; Terry Chung of California City, CA; Karen Johnson of Azusa, CA; and Kevin Warner of West Covina, CA; as well as, her seven grandchildren Brittaney Harrell-Cavallo, Katie Van Mullen, Derek Chung, Julianna Harrell, Danyel Chung, Dylan Chung, and Michael Warner.
Family will meet with friends for viewing on Monday from 5:30pm till 8:00pm at Oakdale Mortuary Chapel 1401 S. Grand Ave, in Glendora. Rosary services at 12:30pm and Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at St Louise De Marillac 1720 E. Covina Blvd, In Covina. Interment will follow at Oakdale Mortuary. Memorial gathering will be held in the recreation room at Saint Louise following the internment.
