In 1936, she moved with her family to Long Beach, CA. After graduating from Business College, she became an Auditor for Sears & Roebuck until having her children JoAnn Wright Wintenburg and Nancy Wright Wilkinson with her husband of 33 years, Harold W. Wright, a general contractor in Long Beach. Edna then handled Harold's bookkeeping while raising their children, later returning to work at Sears. They were married 17 years until his death. Edna remained close to Earl's family, Bob and Sherry Bliss of Cypress, Richard and Janet Bliss of Branson, Carolyn Bliss of Sherman Oaks. She was especially close and blessed to have her loving son in law, Kip Wintenburg who without, would not have had such a fun and well organized life. She will be missed by her grandchildren Ryan and Kelsey Wilkinson along with all of her extended Bliss family. Edna hated exercise but loved shopping, traveling, restaurant dining and was quick and competitive at her games until the end. Edna was preceded in death by her brother Donald and two half brothers Elston and Verde Peterson along with a step daughter from Harold, Betty Milurn Copping and stepgrandson Tim Milburn. Edna loved to laugh, had a great sense of humor and will be missed by all who knew her !
