Alma "Christine" Seay left this earth peacefully, Nov. 1, 2012, at her home in Las Cruces, N.M. where she resided with her daughter and son-in law Dorothy and Wayne Crisp for the past five years. Christine was born, Sept. 1, 1920, in Atlanta, Ga. to Mack Anthony and Annie Liveakos. She called Pensacola, Fla. home prior to moving to live with Mary and Craig Holmes in Dacula, Ga. for over a year and then on to Las Cruces to be near her daughter Dorothy Crisp. Christine enjoyed living at Mira Vista Villas in Las Cruces prior to being placed in hospice care in her daughter's home. Christine's greatest joy was being a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and a friend to everyone she met. She will always be "Momma" to her children, "Granny" to her grandchildren and "Gi Giz" to her great grandchildren. Christine loved to travel and spend time with her family. She enjoyed going to the casino "Inn of the Mountain Gods "in Ruidoso, N.M. She enjoyed spending her 90th birthday at "The Mandalay Bay" in Las Vegas, Nev. with her three daughters Mary Holmes, Marie Smith and Dorothy Crisp. Christine was married to Malcolm H. Seay for more than 30 years. They had six children together. Christine is preceded in death by her mother Annie Liveakos, father Mack Liveakos, her husband Malcolm H. Seay, son Alford Lamar Seay and her daughter Janet Seay Flowers. She is preceded in death by her sister Helen Faulkner her brothers, Gust Liveakos and George H. Liveakos. She is survived by four children, her son Barry Seay and wife Jeanne from Louisiana, Dorothy Seay Crisp and husband Wayne of Las Cruces, Mary Seay Holmes and husband Craig "Monk "of Dacula, and her daughter Marie Seay Smith of Pensacola. Christine is also survived by one son-in-law Lonnie Flowers husband of the late Janet Seay Flowers. She is survived by 15 grandchildren, Andy Seay, Nicole Seay Harris, Simone Seay, Jessica Seay, Jeanne Seay, Juliana Seay, Wyatt Seay, Jennifer Ball, Shane Watson, Ashley Gunter, Brandon Crisp, Scott Crisp, Sarah Frederick, Christine Holmes, and Jeremiah Thompson. Christine is survived by 23 great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.The Seay family would like to thank Stanley Watson for his never-ending love for Christine and the Seay family over the years. Stanley cared generously for Christine and her children. We appreciate his giving of himself to help Christine and her children in their time of need. The Seay family will always be grateful. Active pallbearers will be Barry Seay, Dorothy Seay Crisp, Mary Seay Holmes, Marie Seay Smith, Sarah Holmes Frederick and Michael Shane Watson. Honorary pallbearers will be Stanley Watson, Craig "Monk" Holmes, Wayne Crisp and Lonnie Flowers. Faith Chapel Funeral Home North 1000 Highway 29 South, is in charge of arrangements with internment to follow at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens 1985 West Nine Mile Road in Pensacola. The family will receive friends from 4 – 7 p.m., Friday, Nov 9, 2012 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North.
