Beverly Aline Wark Stupar (Stouper), 89, passed away on Feb. 22, 2014, in Las Cruces, N.M. She was born July 24, 1925, a native of Barre, Vt. Beverly worked for many years in the field of dental hygiene. As a young woman she had fallen in love with the American Southwest and upon retirement, she relocated to Arizona, living in Phoenix, Sedona, and Bisbee. In later years, she moved to New Mexico, spending time in Truth or Consequences and Las Cruces. Beverly loved working with people, and served as a volunteer both in hospice and Alzheimer's respite care. She was also an active member of the Science of Mind Church. Beverly was preceded in death by three younger brothers, Roy Wark of Barre, Joe Wark of Colchester, Vt., and Dave Wark of Bradford, Vt., and her former husband, Joseph Stupar. She is survived by a half-sister, Janet; her two children, Louise Stupar of Los Gatos, Calif., and Sidney Stupar of Barre; and two grandchildren, Matthew and Tara. At Beverly's request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life service will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 4 p.m. in Tesoro Intergative Health Care, 1605 S. Main St., with Matthew Singh officiating. Inurnment of cremains will take place at a later date.
