David Ready

David Russell Ready died unexpectedly and quickly on Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at the age of 52 in Albuquerque, N.M., where he had lived for many years. His leaving has been a shock to all. He was loved by so many. David was a mechanic and had been the maintenance man and Jack-of-all-trades at the Country Sides Estates, where he had lived for about 12 years. David is survived by his Mother and Dad, Carolyn and Ben Duran. His siblings, Dale Ready, Beverly Stanley, Vincent Duran and brother-in-law, Benjamin Stanley, all of Las Cruces, N.M.; Laurie Ready of Casper, Wyo., Lynn White of Roaring Branch, Pa., Sandra Creegan of Greeley, Colo., Ben Duran Jr. and Darlene Varleta, of California, and his fiancee Jo Aranda, his special friends Rita Almaraz, Mary Salas and Anthony, Sasha and Irene Misiewicz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins, Johnny Brock, Teresa Vroman, Christopher Brock and Edwin White, all of Pennsylvania. Kristina Clevenstine, Phillip Luppo and Toni Luppo, all of Florida. Tristan Stanley, Jo Ann Rivera, Fabian Rivera and Misty Gunderson, (Little) Roger Green, his Aunt Betty Green and his former sister-in-law, Judy Banks, all of New Mexico. He has numerous other relatives, including aunts, uncles, cousins and friends all over the country. David (Wild Bill) as he was known by some and (Cricket), as he was known by his racing buddies, will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ethel and Harry Green, by his paternal grandmother, Margaret Ready Green, and by his biological father, Lawrence Ready, and his uncles Roger and Harry Green, his aunt Vera Knapp, his former brother-in-law, John Brock, and his former wife, Vera Ready, and Alfred Goad. Cremation has taken place as per David's wishes. There will be no services. We are sure that his family and friends will always have David in their hearts. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to Safe Haven Animal Shelter.
