It is with heavy hearts and deepest sorrow that our beloved son, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend Henry M. Baca Jr. (Shaggy) 36, surrounded by his family and loved ones, was called home to be with our heavenly father on May 12, 2013. Henry M. Baca was born on Feb. 4, 1977 to Henry and Mary Baca. At the time of his death, Henry was a loving and dedicated son who, with great love and respect, faithfully cared for his mother, Mary Baca. Henry was also a proud father who loved, protected and guided his son Nathaniel Baca in a way that only a father could. He was a dutiful Catholic and a member of Saint Genevieve Roman Catholic Church. Henry touched the hearts and lives of all those who came across him and all those who were blessed to be in his life. Henry is preceded in death by his grandfather Higinio Baca and grandmother Flora Baca; his father Henry S. Baca Sr.; and his brother Albino M. Baca Jr. He is survived by his mother Mary Baca and those who are left to mourn his passing include his sister Dolores and Ernie Gonzales, Ernieto Gonzales, Joseph and Ashley Gonzales, Alex and Nikki Gonzales and Melisa and Florenso Martinez; sister Ester Baca, Rachel Apodaca, Vicky and Jose Esparza and Brandy and Steve Valdez; sister Norma and Bobby Gonzales, Pancho and Jennifer Gonzales, George Gonzales, Patrick and Heather Gonzales, and Ruben and Veronica Gonzales; his late brother Albino M. Others include numerous aunts and uncles, great nieces and nephews, cousins and an abundance of loyal lifelong friends throughout our community. There is no distance that love cannot conquer; there is no void that cannot be filled with memories that we all share. Although our Henry is gone from sight, his love and the memories that he has left behind will live forever in our hearts, his memory will continue to live in lives of his loved ones and all that he has touched throughout his life. Cherished are those that we hold dear, for we are destined to meet again, in the embrace of our heavenly father.
