Manny Quintana

Manuel "Manny Quintana" Sanchez, 70, passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2012. He was born May 20, 1942 to Patricio and Loyza Sanchez in Boulder, Colo. He served his country after high school in the Vietnam. After military service he received a degree in graphic design where he learn to love the art of carpentry and later became a master woodcarver. His work can be seen throughout southwest in many homes, businesses and churches. Most will remember him for it great talent in woodcarving, sculpting and art. He will be missed by his family and friends. Manuel is survived by his daughter Alejandra, two sons Alejandro and Michael. In respect for his final wishes he will be cremated. There will be a gathering with friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Mesilla Valley Hospice, 299 Montana Avenue, Las Cruces, NM, 88005, 523-4700.
