Netty C. Miller, age 77, of Doña Ana entered eternal life Monday, February 10, 2014 in Mountain View Regional Medical Center, Las Cruces. She was born October 26, 1936 in Doña Ana to Florencio and Refugia "Cuca" Martinez Cuaron. Netty retired from Sara Lee Hosiery after which she began a second career as a Bingo player. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Her favorite places were the bingo halls and the Doña Ana Community Center where she ate lunch and visited with all her friends. She was well loved for her sense of humor and will be missed by many. Survivors include three daughters, Donna Miller and fiancé James Norvell, Elaine Davis and husband Carl of Las Cruces, Janice Cuaron and companion Michael List of Tucson, Arizona; a son, Michael Miller of Las Cruces; two brothers, Jack Cuaron of Las Cruces, and Willie Cuaron of Doña Ana. Other survivors include two grandchildren, Miranda Heath and Reagan Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Tomas Cuaron, Paul Cuaron, Isaac Cuaron and one sister, Alice Abalos. Visitation will begin at 5 PM Sunday, February 16, 2014 in Our Lady of Purification Catholic Church, 5525 Cristo Rey in Dona Ana, where Recitation of the Holy Rosary is scheduled for 6 PM led by Eric Chavez. Family and Friends will join together to celebrate the Funeral Liturgy at 10 AM Monday, February 17, 2014 in the same church with Reverend Miguel Macaya officiating. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in the Doña Ana Cemetery where she will be laid to rest. Family and Friends will gather for fellowship after the services in the Fellowship Hall of the church. Serving as casket bearers will be Isaac Jr. and Rodney Cuaron, Carl and Reagan Davis, Michael List, and Jeff Stevens. Netty loved her cats and dogs, so in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary, 840-D El Paseo, Las Cruces, NM 88001.
