John "Jack" R. Williams, 78, of Las Cruces entered eternal life Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at La Posada – Mesilla Valley Hospice. He was born Nov. 29, 1934, in Chicago, Ill., to Hugh and Florence Fox Williams. "Jack," as he was fondly known to his family and friends, served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force and was the owner and operator of a printing company. Those left to mourn his passing include his loving wife of 36 years, Sandra L. Williams of the family home; three sons, John Richard Williams Jr. (Robin) of Apex, N.C., Randall Alan Williams (Diane Lynn) of Mason City, Iowa, James Glenn Williams of Riverside, Iowa; a daughter, Rachelle Renee Buseman (Terry) of Belmond, Iowa; a stepson, Steven Cunningham (Linda) of Pleasant Hill, Iowa; a stepdaughter, Denise K. Palmer-Wiese of Altoona, Iowa. Other survivors include 12 grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Kristie Kay Buseman and a brother, Glenn Williams. A memorial service was held Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, at 7 p.m. in Living Word Family Church with Reverend Jeff Sutton officiating. A funeral service and interment will be held Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, in Adelphi, Iowa.
