Larry Lee Button, 66, Las Cruces, entered into eternal rest July 15, 2014 at Mountain View Regional Hospital . He was born to the late Guy and Mary Worchinski Button in Waupaca, WI, December 27, 1947. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelors in Hotel and Restaurant Management and then served his country in Vietnam with the United States Army. In 1982 he found his home in Las Cruces and was the popular owner of the KarmelKorn Shoppe in the Mesilla Valley Mall for 8 years during the 1980's. Larry then went to work for Graham County Enterprises as Assistant Manager of the Village Patio Homes until his death.

He is preceded by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Larry is survived by his long time friend Gerald Deabel, sisters; Lorraine Holt, husband Jim and Eleanor Lewis, husband Jim, Brother; Johnny Button, wife Edith all of Wisconsin. His second family, Dan Wasser Sr., Daniel Wasser Jr., wife Sharon and their children Tate Wasser and Mackenzie Zemek, husband Nicky, Kris Wasser and fiancé Ray Galvan, Amber, Shannon, and Raelyn Wasser, numerous nephews, nieces and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held July 31 at 10:00 AM at Getz Funeral Home in Las Cruces, NM. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Dona Ana County Humane Society, PO Box 1176, Las Cruces, NM 88004.
