Blaine Isaacs Obituary
Blaine George Isaacs 53 went to eternal rest on Tuesday June 10, 2014. Blaine was born in Radford, Virginia on June 25 1960. He moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico in January of 1967 and it was his home for many years. He grew up in Las Cruces where he was actively involved in sports and was a phenomenal athlete. He played football and basketball all through his years of school and was a superior athlete for Las Cruces High School where he graduated from in 1978 and where he played on the 1975 State Championship Football Team as a sophomore. After High School Blaine moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he spent 10 years working in the Sign Industry. In 1999 Blaine moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he continued his career in the sign industry and worked for the remainder of his life on many high profile accounts and multiple professional stadiums and high profile buildings. Many of his accomplishments were locations such as the Arizona Cardinals Stadium, the Angel Stadium, The Staples Center and Dodger Stadium to name a few as well as the Bank of America building in Phoenix, Arizona. Blaine was a true family man who truly loved spending time with his wife and son and they were his pride and joy and what he lived for. He truly loved getting together with family and having cookouts and watching sports and rooting for his favorite Arizona teams with his son Austin. Blaine is survived by his wife Laura Isaacs, his son Austin Isaacs, his mother Pauline N. Isaacs, his brother Willie Isaacs and wife Barbara from Tustin, Ca. his sister Tondria Isaacs Lopeztello from Foothill Ranch, CA. his stepson Michael Chappell and wife Tey'a of Mesa, Arizona, Stepdaughters Danielle Chappell and Rachel Chappell of Mesa, Az. He is also survived by his nieces Kayla Isaacs, Kayci Isaacs and Ashley Nichole Lopeztello as well as many other Aunts, Uncles and Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his loving father Dr. Willie P. Isaacs and his sister Donna Marie Isaacs Hernandez and beloved brother Zachary Tracy Isaacs as well as his brother in law Alfred O. Lopeztello and his Uncle Mike Gray. The Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday June 17, 2014 at Paz Graham Funeral Home 555 W. Amador Ave. Las Cruces, New Mexico at 10:00am and is open to the public, with burial services at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens immediately following the funeral service. Pallbearers will be Willie Isaacs Jr., Austin Isaacs, Michael Chappell, Michael Gray Jr. Joshua Gray, Larry Lucas and Casey Gerk.
