Daniel Ray Franco, 22, was born on Portland, Ore. on Dec. 29, 1990 and entered eternal life on June 3, 2013. He grew up in Las Cruces, N.M. and currently resided in Midland, Texas. His final days were spent in Las Cruces surrounded by family and friends whom Daniel had touched in many ways throughout his very memorable life. Daniel's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His wonderful sense of humor could melt the hearts of those around him, if you were around Daniel he was making you laugh. Although Daniel's illness made him appear frail, he possessed strength, perseverance and an ability to overcome incredible and physical challenges. With his courage he led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. His ultimate love was the Dallas Cowboys and he always wore his team's jerseys with pride. With Daniel's passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss him everyday, he will forever remain in our hearts.
