Here for such a brief time, but living on forever in all of our hearts. Gone, but never forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Judy, at this most difficult time. No matter how well we think we are prepared .... God knows, we never truly are. Believe he is now pain free and that you will be together again one day. Hang in there and call me when you are ready.
Warmest regards,

Dear Judy,
I remember that day nearly 30 years ago when you appeared at our door looking for Dan and saying "I'm going to marry that man". And you did. Although we have not had any contact in many years, I am sorry to hear of his passing. Dan was smart, had a great sense of humor and could be very sweet. It is good to know he was able to share his life with his best friend. I am very sorry you have lost yours. Our condolences to you and your family.

I just found this and feel so bad. Dan and I were great friends in HS. Over the years I remember the night we drove my '59 Ford to Kansas City to watch a Yankees and KC Athletics game. I think of that trip quite often. O we didn't tell our parents, we were young and foolish but, a memory I will never forget. Richard Manning

Dan and I were classmates at Burlington High School, and graduated together in 1965. Dan was always in the thick of anything that went on in High School, and of course was always being singled out for any infration. Dan was a great friend, and enjoyed his company at the last class reunion. Dan will be missed. Steve Lebeck, Burlington IOwa

Dan was one of those rare individuals, that if you are lucky, in your lifetime, you will know someone like him. If you are truly lucky, you will call him friend. I was truly lucky, and I am blessed to have shared a brief part of my life with Dan and Judy.
