It is with heavy broken hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Ernestina (Tina) C. Gonzales on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 at Mountain View Hospital in Las Cruces, N.M. as she was surrounded by her loving family. "Tina," as most know her, was born on Dec. 5 1947 in Rincon, N.M. to the late Thomas (Tom) Clark and the late Isidra M. Clark. Tina leaves behind her loving husband of 47 years, Frank R. Gonzales, three daughters, Eva Hernandez (Richard), Mary Arzabal (Enrique), Lydia Ortiz, all of Las Cruces, one son, Willie Gonzales (Cristina) of Colorado Springs, Colo., her grandchildren who she always said were the flowers in her garden, Michael Gonzales, (Daniella) of Las Cruces, Richard Hernandez (Valerie), Andrieka Bevins (David), Audriana Sedillo (Daniel), all of Albuquerque, N.M., Cassandra Ordunez, Sabrina Arzabal, Samantha Arzabal, all of Las Cruces, Scarlett Gonzales and Maximus Gonzales of Colorado Springs, Thomas Ortiz of Las Cruces, her great grandchildren who she always said were the rays of sunshine that warmed her heart, Angel Gonzales of Las Cruces, Nevaeh, Julian Hernandez, Delilah, Jayden, Avicii Bevins, Daven, Aubriana, Caleb Sedillo, all of Albuquerque. Tina is also survived by four sisters, Gloria Deleon of Riverside, Calif., Eliza Garcia of Doña Ana, Paula Gonzales and Lucy Clark of Las Cruces, two brothers, Juaquin Clark (Lupe) and Joe Clark, of Las Cruces, and many nieces and nephews who she loved and cared for. Tina was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Willie Clark, Richard Clark, and Thomas Clark, son-in-law Fred Ortiz, and her in-laws, Francisco and Lydia Gonzales. Pallbearers are Willie Gonzales, Michael Gonzales, Richard Hernandez, Enrique Arzabal, Angel Apodaca and David Bevins. Honorary pallbearer are Daniel Sedillo, Johnny Gonzales, Joey Gonzales, David Clark, Orlie Clark and Florencio DeLeon.
