FRANCISCA MARIA ALANIZ, 79, of Amarillo, Texas entered eternal life Saturday, September 15, 2007 at BSA Hospice in Amarillo. Francisca was born October 25, 1927 in Berino to Cristobal and Rafaela Sanchez Ronquillo. She was a homemaker and member of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include one son, Jose Ronquillo of Anthony, Texas; two daughters, Jennie Luna of Logans Port, Indiana and Mary Lou Martinez of Amarillo, Texas; one brother, Raul Ronquillo of Arizona; two sisters, Pepa Caballero and Benita de Leon all of Arizona. Other survivors include fifteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcelino Alaniz, two sons, and four grandchildren.
A Prayer Vigil was held yesterday, Wednesday, September 19, 2007 in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 224 Lincoln Avenue. Family and friends will join together to celebrate the Funeral Mass at 2 PM, Thursday (today), September 20, 2007 in the same church with the Reverend Andres Alava, Celebrant. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in the Anthony Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
Serving as casket bearers will be Raymond Alaniz, Frankie Lopez, Daniel, Victor, Cristobal and Rene Ronquillo.
