Linda Lou O'Brien, 63, of Las Cruces, N.M. went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Oct. 20. 2012, shortly after lunch with her two sons by her side. She was born on Feb. 16, 1949, the youngest of four children by John and Phyllis Tuttle in Fort Worth, Texas. Her three brothers are Gary Tuttle, of Las Cruces, Robert Tuttle, of Albuquerque, N.M. and Bill Tuttle, of San Diego, Calif. She is survived by her loving husband David and her two sons; Christopher and Curtis Moriarty. Linda was a devoted family and Christian woman. She loved the outdoors, spending time on the beach and playing golf. Linda was an inspiration to many and will be dearly missed. She battled cancer for the last eight years of her life after being diagnosed in 2004, living one day at a time and touching the hearts of many along the way. Her strength and courage was truly motivational and her spirit will live on. Services will be held at Morning Star Methodist Church, 2941 Morning Star Drive. (on the corner of Road Runner Parkway and Morning Star Drive) on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at 10 a.m. Preferred memorial is The Gospel Rescue Mission, 1050 W. Amador, Las Cruces, NM 88005.
