Marjorie "Margie" Viola Carr passed away quietly at home on Dec. 24, 2012 at the age of 84; She was born in Las Cruces, N.M. on July 22, 1928. She went home to spend Christmas with her brother Claudie, parents Lewis and Bertha Carr, grandson Clayton Been and son-in-law Carl W. Macaw, and her beloved little dog Cricket who all preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving family and children, Barbara Younghusband (Brent), George "Beener" Been (Thelma) and Delta Macaw. She is also survived by grandchildren Bill Fleming, Ed Fleming, Shawna Robinson, Clint Been, Amanda Paddock, Walter Been, Will Been and Matthew Gray. Seana Delaney also adopted Marjorie as a mom after her own parents passed away. She is also survived by Cousin Robert "Bob" Carr and wife Zelda, nieces Claudia Kay Walgren and Patty Lively of Victorville, Calif. and many great grandchildren and many great great-grandchildren. She will be missed by friends as well, especially by her wonderful friend Norma Harvey and also her son Michael Garth of Glendale, Ariz. In accordance with her wishes she was cremated and and informal celebration of her life will be held at the Radium Springs Community Center on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Radium Springs Community Center is located at 12060 L B Lindbeck Road, Radium Springs, NM just off exit 19 from I-25.
