Melvin Heatley Obituary
Melvin "Rhino" Heatley passed on to a better world July 12, 2012. The 27-year-old Mayfield High School alumni resided in Ceres, Calif. He was an avid WWE fan, an amateur tattoo artist, loved music and playing his bass guitar. "It is difficult to sum up the life a person who did so much for his friends and family. A simple 'He was a good guy' just doesn't cut it. Rhino's friendship was one that knew no boundaries. His love for his family and friends was truly unconditional. No matter what someone did, he was there for you, ALWAYS. His rough and tough exterior hid the loving, good-natured man he was. He was our "Guardian, he looked out for everyone. Losing him has caused such pain amongst all who knew him. We will miss his laugh, his HUGE hugs (the best hugs), his bluntness, and the way he could make your day better just with a short talk. People hope for a friendship like his, and it is with a heavy heart we say good-bye to this incredible man. We know he is watching over us, he'd never stop looking out for those he loved even in death." Melvin was preceded in death by his grandmother Elsie Coker (5/30/2011), his brother Zachary Heatley (1/6/2002) and his father Randy Heatley (10/19/2004). He is survived by his mother, Judy Heatley, his beautiful daughter Ember Rain Healtey, 5, many cousins and relatives, friends from Ceres, Calif., Las Cruces, NM, and his family from "The Tree" at Mayfield High School.
