Pedro "Pete" Enrique Telles, 62, longtime resident of La Mesa entered eternal life Thursday, April 25, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born Dec. 5, 1950 to Jesus Jose and Guadalupe Bustamante Telles in Anthony, N.M. "Pete," as he was fondly known to his family and friends, was a handyman and a member of Calvary Chapel of Las Cruces. Survivors include his loving wife, Aurora Sandoval Telles of the family home; three sons, Frank, Enrique and Jose Juan "JJ"; a daughter, Mayra, all of La Mesa; a sister, Rebecca Kelleher and husband Harry of El Paso, Texas; and an uncle, Domingo G. Tellez. Other survivors include five grandchildren, Daphane, Stephanie, Camila, Nathaniel and Skyler, as well as numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a grandson, Jermaine Telles. At Pete's request, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2013 in Calvary Chapel of Las Cruces, 139 S. Main St. with Pastor Bob Ortega officiating.
