It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend, Ronald "Flaco" B. Sambrano, 52, of Las Cruces on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012 at Casa de Oro Care Center. He was born May 26, 1960 in Los Angeles, California to Manuel T. and Juliette Barela Sambrano. "Flaco" as he was fondly known to his family and friends was an automobile painter by trade and a member of El Calvario United Methodist Church. Those left to mourn his passing include his mother, Juliette B. Sambrano and companion Daniel De La O; two brothers, Pat Sambrano and companion Crystal, Jake Sambrano and companion Debbie; a sister, Sophie Clark and husband Rudy of Las Cruces. Other survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father; his maternal grandparents, Jacobo and Elizaida Barela; his paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Sofia Hernandez. At Ronald's request cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 at 1 p.m. in El Calvario United Methodist Church, 300 N.
