Ross Parker Erwin, 49, of Las Cruces entered eternal life on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center. He was born June 15, 1964 in Raton, NM to Ralph Parker and Ray Kay White Erwin. At the time of his death, Ross was employed as a Fabrication Welder with Elephant Butte Irrigation District. He was a member of OL Skool 4 X 4 Off-Road Adventures Club. Those left to mourn his passing include a son, Wes Erwin serving in the US Coast Guard stationed in Buffalo, New York; two daughters, Janie Richardson of Tucson, Arizona, Megan Erwin of Millbrook, Alabama; his companion, Leticia Serna of Tortugas; his father, Ralph Erwin; a brother, Rees Erwin both of Portland, Oregon. Other survivors include a granddaughter, Bristol Marie Erwin as well as three uncles, one aunt and a cousin. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ray Kay Erwin in 2003. Visitation for Ross will begin at 7 PM Monday, January 27, 2014 in Baca's Chapel of Prayer, 300 E. Boutz Road. Cremation will follow and OL 'Skool 4x4 Off-Road Adventures Club will hold an off road Memorial on Saturday, February 1, 2014 with the group meeting at the Doña Ana Exit at 9:45 AM.
