Selena Moore, 50, lifelong resident of Las Cruces passed away unexpectedly on Saturday April 28, 2012 at University Medical Center in El Paso, TX. She was born on September 29, 1961, and graduated from Las Cruces High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and many close friends. She especially loved being a mother to her daughter Crystal. She was an avid collector of bells of all sizes and shapes, a big Cowboys fan, and followed Jeff Gordon on the Nascar circuit. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She is survived by her longtime companion Tim Peterson, their daughter Crystal, her father Bill (Norma) of Silver City, NM, brother Dudley (Becky) of Las Cruces, sister Wendy (Sebastian) of Round Rock, TX, uncle Steven (Lucie) of Las Cruces, and many other uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins around the country. A celebration of her life will take place at Faith Chapel Assembly of God, 4895 W. Picacho, on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 11:00am. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Atchison, Jerry Hernandez, Steve Gallegos, and Johnny Bernal. We all miss you, and know you have been welcomed into the Lord's loving embrace. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to an account at Citizen's Bank in the name of Selena Moore to help with the service expenses, and family needs.
The Guest Book is expired.
