Theodore P. Zambos, 70, died unexpectedly at his residence Feb. 21, 2013. He was born in Chicago, Ill. on July 18, 1942 the son of Theodore and Marie "Zver" Zambos. He was a wonderful husband, son, brother, father and grandfather. He proudly served his country and retired after 21 years in the U.S. Air Force where he earned several commendations including a Bronze Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Combat Readiness Medal, and Vietnam Service Medal. He later retired from General Dynamics after an additional 25 years of government-related employment. He loved his home and enjoyed cutting his grass and plowing snow with his John Deere tractors. He enjoyed quiet time with his bible and church fellowship, he loved his 2 dogs Terri and Bonnie, and enjoyed using his computer expertise to help others. Most important to him was his family who he loved dearly and spent a lifetime providing for. He is survived by his wife Patricia of 47 years; brother Lee Daly of Las Vegas Nev.: daughter Dawn of Las Cruces, NM; son Kenneth and daughter-in-law Denise of Tucson, Ariz.; grandchildren, Corey, Michelle, Ashley and Katie; and great granddaughter Nicole, along with numerous nieces and nephews. This is a profound loss and he will be greatly missed. Friends and relatives may attend the funeral service at the Madawaska Gospel Church on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 at 3 p.m. with Pastor Doug Brown. Interment will be at the St. David Cemetery.
