It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister and friend, Victoria Andrea Jacquez, 27, a resident of Las Cruces on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013. She was born May 15, 1985 in Silver City to David and Irma Holguin Jacquez. Victoria was known for her amazing personality, kindness, loving smile and a great sense of humor. She was a fashion designer by trade and a member of the Roman Catholic Church. Those left to mourn her passing include her parents David Jacquez and companion Tina, and Irma Jacquez and companion Emilio; three brothers, Gabriel Jacquez and wife Sabina, Roman Jacquez and wife Reyna, Israel Jacquez and wife Anna, all of Las Cruces, as well as many special extended family members and numerous wonderful friends. Her maternal and paternal grandparents preceded her in death. The recitation of the holy rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 in Our Lady of Purification Catholic Church, 5525 Cristo Rey in Doña Ana where the mass of resurrection will follow immediately thereafter with the Rev. Miguel Macaya, Celebrant. At her request cremation has taken place and inurnment of cremains will be at a later date.
