It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother Maria Rueda Velazquez. She was born Aug. 4, 1949, in Coyote, Coahuila, Mexico. The lord was looking for an angel and it is when my mother crossed his path that he decided to take her to eternal life to reunite with her mother Leonor Rueda. She is survived by two sisters, Lupe Ambriz, and Juana Rueda-Barraza; three brothers, Manuel, Jesus and Gerardo Rueda; five sons, Cesar Esparza (Elia), Juan Carlos Esparza (Ana), Luis Javier Esparza (Ana), Antonio Esparza (Terry), Sergio Ivan Esparza (Elisa); 15 grandchildren, Donna, Silvia, Uriel, Lizbeth, David, Christopher, Yesenia, Valeria, Israel, Elijah, Antonio, Celeste, Josue, Ivan and Selena; and five great-grandchildren, Diego, Solange, Edwin, Jaylyn and Elijah. Maria will have a funeral Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Mesquite Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to the care of La Paz-Grahams funeral home on 555 W. Amador.
