Jenny Merino-Bush Obituary
Jenny Merino-Bush, a native of Silver City, passed away at UNM Hospital in Albuquerque on December 22, 2011 after a long illness. She was born on June 24th, 1942 to Jose and Rita Trujillo Merino. She attended grade and high school in Silver City and worked many years as a caregiver and at Dr. Watts Clinic. She had moved to Albuquerque, was a caregiver for her mom and dad until their passing, she also was a certified medical aide for 30 years. Left to mourn her passing are her daughter Jennifer, her son-in-law Adam and their son Adam Munoz Jr., son Chris of the family home, son Carl of Georgia, sister Carollina Merino from Las Lunas, and her children Porfy, Jimmy, Sammy and Lucy Arrellano, brother Roy from San Antonio, TX and his children Veronica, Maggie, Joey, Leonard and Roy Michael, her life-long friend Delia Chavez Bourguet of Las Cruces, many beloved cousins, friends and co-workers from the Silver City and Albuquerque area. Jenny was a loving, giving and helpful mother and daughter, a funny sincere, trustworthy, and loyal friend, and a terrific dancer. She will forever be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Joe Jr. and her husband Malcom "Butch" Bush. Viewing services were held in Albuquerque on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 followed by a cremation. Because of inclement weather and difficult circumstances a Rosary and Inurnment of cremains will be held at a later announced date in Silver City, where she will be placed next to her parents as per her wishes.
