Aurelia Isabel Arrey, 87, of Arrey entered eternal life Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 14, 1924 in Rincon to Martin and Margarita Vasquez Rivas. Aurelia was a homemaker and a member of the Roman Catholic Church. Survivors include five sons, Martin Arrey and wife Silvia of Las Cruces, Douglas Arrey and wife Elaine of Doña Ana, Alex Arrey and wife Margaret of Truth or Consequences, Larry Arrey and wife Alicia of Caballo, and Jerome Arrey Sr., and wife Terry of Radium Springs; three daughters, Julia Dominguez and husband Frank, Dolores Gomez and husband Joseph, all of Las Cruces, and Annette Fuentes and husband Brian of Arrey. Other survivors include her loving companion pet dog, "Panejo," along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, and numerous grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Arrey will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013 at Baca's Chapel of Prayer, 300 E. Boutz Road where the prayer vigil is scheduled for 7 p.m. with Deacon Ramon Vaquera officiating. At her request, cremation will take place and inurnment of cremains will be held at a later date.
