Robert "Bob" Cave passed away on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at the age of 79. He was a graduate of Ysleta High and Texas western College (now UTEP) where he was the student body president. Robert served as an Army veteran pilot and went on to a 35-year career in the insurance industry with Prudential in El Paso and San Antonio. Following his retirement he was a business owner in Cloudcroft where he built and managed The Burro Street Exchange. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sally Cave; his children, Tammy Carpenter, Bobby Cave and John Cave; his two grandchildren, Natalie King and Kylie Cave; and one great-grandchild Connor King. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Memory Gardens of the Valley in Santa Teresa, N.M.
