Margaret Isabel "Isie" Teague, 90, a Deming resident, passed away Thursday September 5, 2013 at Mountain View Regional Hospital in Las Cruces. The graveside service will be Wednesday afternoon, September 11, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery with Ceasar Chavez, pastor of River of Life Citi-Church, officiating. Isie was born November 10, 1922 in Sumner, Oklahoma to Edith B. Tonkinson and Robert D. Hileman. She had worked as a teller at Mimbres Valley Bank and its successors for many years. Isie, as she was affectionately known, was a longtime Deming resident coming from Hanover and was a member of the River of Life Citi-Church and Beta Sigma Phi. Her favorite pastime was bowling and she was in a league for over 65 years. She is survived by her children, Margaret Ochoa, Leon C. Teague (Dolores), Lonnie R. Teague (Maggie), Kenneth W. Teague (Susan) and numerous grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren. Isie could name each one and their birthdays. Also many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends survive her. She loved them all and was loved by all. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Leon R. "Nick" Teague who died in 2010.
