Gene A. Gosnell, 86, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Monday, October 21, 2013 at his residence. He was born April 15, 1927 in Bruce Camp, NM to Andrew and Francis Reed Gosnell. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked and retired as a mine supervisor for Kennecott Copper Corp. He is survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Hunter; two brothers-in-law, Ralph Wright and his wife Peggy; Albert Galassini and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Viodell (2012); his parents, two sisters, Marilyn Galassini and Joan Fisher; one brother, Don Gosnell; a niece, Marsha Robinson; nephews, Randy and Ronnie Gosnell. A Graveside Service will be celebrated on Monday, October 28 at 1 p.m. at Fort Bayard National Cemetery with full military honors.
