David A Miller, 72, of Dewey, AZ, passed away suddenly Wednesday, January 22, 2014, with his beloved wife, Mary, by his side. David was born in Elkhart, IN, and grew up in Albuquerque, NM. He served in the U.S. Navy for 11 years and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He then graduated from the University of Washington and received his master's degree from the University of New Mexico. He was a teacher in the Gadsden School District, Chaparral Middle School, where he retired from in 2005. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jean and Edgar Miller. He is survived by four brothers: Thomas and his wife, Martha; Gregory and his wife, Toni; Christopher Miller and Douglas Bischoff. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, 3 stepchildren, Kim, Mike and Michele and 10 grandchildren who adored him. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Albuquerque, NM.
