Treva Hendrix

1955 - 2016

Treva Renee Hendrix, 60, passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 at Mesilla Valley Hospice.
Treva was born on November, 25, 1955, in Vici, Oklahoma, to Raymond Delbert Coram and Hettie Imo (Cain).
In 1982, Treva graduated Byng School of Professional Nursing in Byng Oklahoma with her LPN degree and a 4.0 GPA. White continuing to work Treva pursued her RN degree and graduated in 1992 from Clovis Community College in Clovis, New Mexico. Treva worked in psychiatric and rehabilitation nursing, telemetry, ICU, home healthcare, and hospitals and nursing homes in Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and Washington DC and the surrounding areas. She particularly enjoyed working with elderly patients in long term facilities.
In her free time, Treva enjoyed sewing, quilting, and crocheting. She was also an active member of the VFW Lodge 6917 where she enjoyed many wonderful friendships.
Treva is survived by her children Stephanie (Chris) Loyd, Melissa (Roberto) Pastrana; five grandchildren Kayla Laywell, Alexis Tomlinson, Conner McDonald, Kaitlyn McDonald, and Jacob Pastrana all of Las Cruces; brother Charles (Nina) Coram; mother Hettie Stevens; and many, many friends.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Richard, her father Delbert Coram, and her stepfather Jacob Stevens.
