Currier, Kyle  
Kyle J. Currier York Kyle J. Currier, 43, died at York Hospital on June 27, 2016. Born October 11, 1972, in Lebanon, he was the son of Robert J. Currier of Lebanon and the late Elizabeth (Wagner) Lohr. Kyle retired as a Vice President for PNC Financial Services Group and formerly worked for several banks in the banking industry. He was a 1991 graduate of Cedar Crest High School and graduated with a B.S. in Business from Penn State University in 1995. Kyle was an avid fan of the Philadelphia sports teams, Penn State football and his children as they competed in their sports. In addition to his father, Kyle is survived by a daughter, Taylor E. Currier of York; a son, Bryce J. Currier of York; a brother, Robert Currier, Jr. of Sumter, SC.; and his paternal grandmother, Anne Currier of Summerville, S.C. A public viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 700 Hellam St., Wrightsville, PA, with an informal time of sharing memories beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Cremation will follow, with private services at the convenience of the family at a later date. Miller, Leon  
Leon P. Miller Baton Rouge, LA Leon Paul Miller, born June 9, 1921, passed away peacefully and with dignity at his home in Baton Rouge on June 23, 2016, at the age of 95. Born in Lebanon County, he was the 6th of 9 children. He was predeceased by his wife, Louie, November 4, 2011; and sisters, Vella, Ruth, Verna, Fay and June; and brother, Carl. He is survived by his brother, Glenn E Miller, Myerstown. Leon married Louie Margaret Warren on April 30, 1945 in Chessington, England after meeting at a USO club while both were serving in the military. Leon served with the U.S. Air Force and Louie was a WAAF with the British Royal AF. Leon was the farm editor for the Lebanon Daily News and in marketing for both the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau and Agway. He retired from Agway Dewitt, NY in 1986 and in 2003 moved to Baton Rouge. Leon loved playing the guitar and was a regular performer at Baton Rouge's downtown Farmer's Market. Besides music he was an avid reader, liked challenging crosswords, travel, walking. Surviving are two daughters, Diane Kirk and husband, William of Summerfield, FL and Wendy Myers and husband, Michael Myers of Baton Rouge; six granddaughters; and five great-granddaughters. The family would like to thank Hospice in His Care. A memorial service will be held at Broadmoor United Methodist Church In Baton Rouge on Thursday June 30. Visitation will be at 10:30 followed by service at 11. Contributions can be made in Leon's name to American Cancer Society or your favorite charity.

Peiffer, Kenneth  
Kenneth M. Peiffer October 29, 1946 - June 27, 2016 Annville Kenneth M. Peiffer, 69, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016, at the PinnacleHealth Harrisburg Hospital. He was the husband of Shirley A. Krall Peiffer. On September 23rd, they would have celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary. Born in Lebanon on October 29, 1946, he was the son of the late Mark and Josephine Manbeck Peiffer. He retired in 2006 from Hershey Foods. Ken was an avid reader and enjoyed vacationing with his wife, visiting his daughter in VA, spending time with his grandchildren and hunting with his brother-in-laws. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Charlene E., wife of David "Blue" Harding of Sterling, VA and Julie A., wife of Elion "Ely" Wentzel, III of New Cumberland; brother, Bruce Peiffer of Ono; sister, Beverly Brightbill of Lebanon; grandchildren, Emmie Rinard and Michael and Samuel Wentzel. He was preceded in death by his daughter Shelley K. Peiffer and a sister Carol Peiffer. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016, at 2 p.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. Wilson, Mildred  
Mildred M. Wilson Lebanon Mildred M. Wilson, 94, formerly of Johnstown, passed away June 26, 2016. Born January 14, 1922 in Everett, PA, she was the daughter of Roy and Lethian (Gates) Grimes. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Forest Wilson; son, Kirk Wilson; and brothers and sisters. Survived by loving sons, Jay R. Wilson, Fredericksburg, PA and Dr. Craig M. Wilson, Bethel; grandchildren, Heather Varvel, April Wilson, Heather Rorabaugh, and Luke Wilson; great-grandchildren, Josuel, Jacion, Hailey, Caitlyn, and Gavin. Mildred was a Member of Belmont United Methodist Church. A 1948 graduate of Juniata College, she served as college nurse. She was a trained reflexologist (foot and body) and a retired registered nurse at local school districts. Friends will be received Thursday 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown with Pastor Keith Dunn officiating. Private interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Boltz Jr., James "Slick"  
James M. "Slick" Boltz, Jr. Myerstown James M. "Slick" Boltz, Jr., 68, died Sunday, June 19, 2016 in Mt. Aetna. Born in Lebanon on February 19, 1948, he was the son of the late James M., Sr. and Nancy (Zerman) Boltz. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Slick was employed at Fargo Assembly, Richland, for 10 years and worked part time at Manheim Auto Auction for two years. He was a member of the Rescue Fire Co. No. 1, Mt. Aetna, Goodwill Fire Co., Myerstown, Rehrersburg Fire Co., Bethel Fire Co., Mt. Zion Fire Co., VFW Post 6076, Myerstown, Strausstown Field & Stream, Fredericksburg Legion, and was a past member of the Navy Club, Lebanon. Slick enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, watching country westerns, listening to country music, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He is survived by a son, Brad, husband of Linda Boltz of Newmanstown; daughters, Sherry Haldeman of Lebanon, Michelle Hammer of Myerstown; 12 grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; a sister, Evonne Clark of Mt. Gretna; and one nephew. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Boltz; and a niece. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. A viewing will be held Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m., and Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Crissey, Ronald  
Ronald R. Crissey February 10, 1961 - June 27, 2016 Susquehanna Twp. Ronald R. Crissey, 55, of Jonestown, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016, as a result of a motorcycle accident in Dauphin Co. Born in Bristol, PA on February 10, 1961, he was the son of the late Albert and Genevieve Sager Crissey. Ron was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served on the USS Kitty Hawk, the Coral Sea and the Saratoga. He was an avid motorcyclist and a lover of the outdoors. He is survived by his sisters, Margaret A., wife of Daniel Schaeffer of Jonestown and Wanda Frank; niece, Jennifer Wolfe; and nephews, Earl Miller and Daniel Schaeffer. Iii, Frederick Wright  
Frederick Wright, III Boiling Springs Frederick L. Wright, III, 75, of Churchtown, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016 at ManorCare Health Services, Carlisle. He was born on February 26, 1941 in Greenville, PA, and was the son of the late Llewellyn D. and Chrystel (Williamson) Wright. Fred graduated in 1959 from Fredonia High School in Greenville and also earned a Bachelor's degree in 1963 from Allegheny College where he majored in history and economics. He owned and operated the Willow Hill Hatchery in Bethel for many years. Fred then worked at the West Shore Farmers Market, CTE Inc., the Pippen Run Farms, as a vendor at Williams Grove Flea Market and most recently with Christian Companion Senior Care. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Shirley Ann (McMullen) Wright; five sons, Frederick L. (wife, Jackie) Wright, IV of Lebanon, Jeffrey M. (wife, Heather) Wright of Richland, PA, Andrew J. (wife, Becky) Wright of Harrington, DE, B. Wright and Eric G. (wife, Rosie) Wright of Lincoln, NH; two daughters, Carrie M. (husband, Kevin) Meyer of Manheim and Elisabeth A. (husband, Shawn) Ross of Paxinos, PA; two step-sons, Steven J. (wife, Holly Jo) Dolby of Dauphin and Thomas E. (wife, Cindy) Dolby of York; one step-daughter, Lisa A. (husband, Harry) Hassle of Port Orange, FL; one sister, Col (Ret) Suellyn Novak, USAF of Eagle River, AK; 28 grandchildren; and one great-grandson. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, 2016 in the Churchtown Church of God, 357 Old Stonehouse Rd, Churchtown, with Pastor Brian Warner officiating. Burial will be private. Betty J. San Martin December 28, 1922 - June 25, 2016 Lebanon Betty J. San Martin, 93, passed away on Friday June 25, 2016 in her residence. She was the wife of the late Eloy San Martin. She was born in Lebanon on December 28, 1922, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Mabel Welsh Luttman. She was a retired seamstress and was a member of St. Mark's U.C.C. She enjoyed reading and going to the movies with her sister and family on their Saturday night's out. She is survived by sons, Frederick San Martin of Loveland, Co and Tim San Martin of Lebanon; grandchildren, Terry and wife, Vivian San Martin, Dale and wife, Shelli San Martin, Ryan San Martin; great-grandchildren, Owen and Hailey San Martin; sister, Jean Cool and brother, Francis Luttman. She was preceded in death by brothers, Carl and Henry Luttman; brother, Thomas Hafer; and sister, Dolores Whitman. Fritz, William  
William J. Fritz Ft. Lauderdale, FL William J. Fritz, 88, formerly of Lebanon, passed away June 24. Born June 15, 1928, he was the son of Leroy and Ruth Jane Showers Fritz. Bill was a member of Tabor UCC. He was also a member of LHS, Class of '47. At 16 he joined the Merchant Marines. At 18 he joined the U.S. Army and served with the Military Police in Germany where he met and married his wife, Selma Heidrich Fritz, who preceded him in death in 2005. Bill worked in the Cornwall Ore Mines as a concreter and timberman. He was a former fire chief of Glenn, Lebanon and he was a former Scoutmaster of Troop 64. Bill was also a member of several German clubs. Surviving are daughter, Joann Zimmerman and husband, Joseph of Annville; a son, William J. Fritz, Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale; grandsons, Jason and Jesse Zimmerman; five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at the discretion of the family at a later date. Bill was a hard working man, dedicated to his family and loved to dance!
