Groudy, Beth  
Beth R. Groudy CORNWALL Betty Ruth Sullivan Goudy, 91 resident of Cornwall Manor, Cornwall and recently a resident of Annville, passed away May 29, 2015. She was wife of the late Ray Charles "Hank" Goudy. Born November 8, 1923, in Hershey, she was a daughter of the late Noah and Hettie Ebersole Sullivan. Betty graduated from Hershey High School in 1939. She worked in many departments at the old Hershey Department Store, and later worked as a Dental Assistant for Edwin Weaver D.D.S. Betty was a gifted seamstress and gardener raising food and flowers. She was a member of Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, Palmyra and Cornwall Manor United Methodist Church. Betty is survived by sisters, Miriam Short and Vera Schaffner; niece, Karen Drobenak; nephews, Jeffrey Short, Stephen Short, and Bradley Short; stepdaughter, Linda Goudy; and stepson, Fred Goudy. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067 or better yet visit the Humane Society of Lebanon County and adopt a pet in Betty's name. That will make her smile. Neuman, Helena L.  
Helena L. Neuman LEBANON Helena L. Neuman, 86, passed away Monday June 1, 2015. She was the wife of the late Harry Junior Neuman. Helena was born in Lebanon on August 17, 1928, a daughter of the late Peter A. Kutenits and Mary J. (Sitzai) Kutenits Lantz and Alfred D. Lantz. Helena is survived by four children, Marie P., wife of Kenneth Kreitz of Lebanon, Michelle S., wife of Clarence Snyder of Lebanon, Debra E., wife of Robert Yost of Halifax, Harry J., husband of Deb Neuman of Lebanon; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and a brother, William H. Kutenits, of Florida. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 2 N. 8th Street, Lebanon, 17046. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery at the convenience of the family. A viewing will be held Thursday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. Carl, Donald Eugene  
Donald Eugene Carl NICHOLSON Donald Eugene Carl, 70, of Nicholson (formerly of Grantville), passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 30, 2015. He was born August 30, 1944, in Hershey and was the son of the late Ray B. and Marion (Megonnell) Carl. Donald graduated from Northern Lebanon High School in 1962 and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked for PPL (formerly Hershey Electric) for 42 years prior to retirement in 2007. He was a member of Bindnagle Lutheran Church, Palmyra, Fort Indiantown Gap Conservation Club and Lackawanna Valley Trout Unlimited. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. He loved to travel and see new sights and was always able to strike up a conversation and make new friends wherever his journeys brought him. He was also a very hard worker who very much loved spending time with his family, particularly his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Virginia (Folmer); their two daughters, Michelle (wife of Scott Schneider), Elizabethtown, and Melissa (wife of Mark Urda), Nicholson; and grandchildren, Ethan, Evan and Emma Schneider and Aubrey and Adalynn Urda. He is also survived by his two sisters, Judy Hershey of Grantville and Linda Smith of Kure Beach, N.C. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA. Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place Friday at 2 p.m. in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Beatrice Dunk LEBANON Beatrice (McCorkel) Dunk, 98, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2015 in Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon. She was born Tuesday, May 15, 1917 to the late John I. and Almeda (Groff) McCorkel. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Clair Snyder Dunk. Beatrice was a 1935 graduate of Hershey High School. She was a faithful member of Mt. Wilson Church of the Brethren and a retiree from the Colebrook Garment Factory. She loved reading and was a member of the Lebanon Library. Beatrice enjoyed being a part of the Senior Citizens of Palmyra. Most importantly she was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by two sons, Stanford C. Dunk and Kenneth L. Dunk and wife, Kathy; three daughters, Arlene F. Klahr, Brenda J. Blauch and husband, John and Cynthia K. Lindsay; 17 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 31 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth McCorkel; and two sisters, Arlene Heisey and Fannie Nye. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 4th at 11 a.m. at Mt. Wilson Church of the Brethren, 1261 Mt. Wilson Rd., Lebanon, with Pastor Kirby Dupler officiating. Burial will follow in S. Annville Cemetery. Hirschbock, Wilmer H.  
Wilmer H. Hirschbock ANNVILLE Wilmer Howard Hirschbock, 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 1, 2015, at his residence. He was the husband of Grace A. Bowman Hirschbock, with whom he celebrated 68 years of marriage. Born in Lebanon, Wilmer was the son of the late Stella Mae Jones Hirschbock Kercher and stepson of the late Clarence Kercher. Wilmer was a 1942 graduate of Lebanon High School. He served proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII. Wilmer was a recipient of two Purple Hearts. He had worked in electronics with instrument repair at Fort Indiantown Gap Military Reservation. Wilmer had attended Lebanon Valley Bible Church. He enjoyed antique cars, restoring automobiles and remodeling homes. Wilmer was known as a helper of people; and never asked for anything in return. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the team at ASERA Care for the wonderful care they provided him and the entire family. Surviving in addition to his wife, are two children Jill L. and husband Roy Musselwhite of Cleona, Susan J. and husband Gregory Moyer of Lebanon; grandchildren, Melissa Hanson of Livermore Calif., Amy Morrissey of Annville, Katie Robertson of Lebanon, Becky Stellmach of Cleona; great- grandchildren, James and Olivia Morrissey, Keira, Kya, Kylee, Kara Robertson, Mackenzie and Lucy Stellmach, Peighton, Piper and Luke Hanson. He was preceded in death by brother, Mark Kercher; and is survived by several half brothers and sisters. Memorial services will be held on Friday June 5, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. from the Lebanon Valley Bible Church, 1482 Horseshoe Pike, Lebanon. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, with full military honors, at the convenience of the family. There will be a time of visitation to follow the memorial services at the church. Kreiser, Richard L.  
Richard L. Kreiser PALMYRA Richard L. Kreiser, 68, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the M. S. Hershey Medical Center. He was born on Tuesday, September 17, 1946 in Palmyra to the late Curtis G. and Irene E. (Cope) Kreiser. He is survived by his loving wife Bonnie K. (Cassel) Kreiser. Richard graduated from Palmyra High School in the class of 1965. He went on to work as a Supervisor at Kraft Foods for 25 years. He was a member of the Palmyra Sportsman Club. He enjoyed spending time at his vacation and hunting cabin in Potter County with his family and friends and his hunting and fishing buddies who grew to be like family to him. In his younger years Richard grew up working for this family's business, the Palmyra Pheasant Farm. Since then he always had a love for farming and mowing his farm and property. Richard also cherished the time he got to spend with his many grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his daughter, Lori A. Kreiser; and son, Steven R. Kreiser, husband of April R., all of Palmyra; six grandchildren, Gabrielle, Mario, Jaden, Jon, Darby and Takarah. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Shearer of Maryland. He was preceded in death by his brother Carl C. Kreiser. A Memorial Service will be held on at 11 a.m. on Friday June 5, 2015 at Community Bible Church, 1849 S. Forge Rd, Palmyra, with Pastor Greg Wilson officiating. Friends and family are respectfully invited for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
