Fritz, William  
William J. Fritz Ft. Lauderdale, FL William J. Fritz, 88, formerly of Lebanon, passed away June 24. Born June 15, 1928, he was the son of Leroy and Ruth Jane Showers Fritz. Bill was a member of Tabor UCC. He was also a member of LHS, Class of '47. At 16 he joined the Merchant Marines. At 18 he joined the U.S. Army and served with the Military Police in Germany where he met and married his wife, Selma Heidrich Fritz, who preceded him in death in 2005. Bill worked in the Cornwall Ore Mines as a concreter and timberman. He was a former fire chief of Glenn, Lebanon and he was a former Scoutmaster of Troop 64. Bill was also a member of several German clubs. Surviving are daughter, Joann Zimmerman and husband, Joseph of Annville; a son, William J. Fritz, Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale; grandsons, Jason and Jesse Zimmerman; five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at the discretion of the family at a later date. Bill was a hard working man, dedicated to his family and loved to dance!

Grodensky, John  
John C. Grodensky Lebanon John Carl Grodensky, 71, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Theresa A. (Bleistine) Grodensky. Born in Lebanon on May 25, 1945, John was a son of the late Benjamin and Magdaline (Brunn) Grodensky. John was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He worked as a gunsmith for many years and a mechanic, working on jet engines, automobiles, and motorcycles. He enjoyed motorcycling and dirt bike racing. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kristi L. Grodensky, fiancée of Jeffrey Stewart; two sisters, Catherine Demler, wife of Henry and Maryellen Weaver; a brother-in-law, Charles H. Bleistine; two Godsons, Duane Sites and William Meade; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon. Interment with full military honors will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Visitation hours will be held Tuesday afternoon from 12 to 1 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in John's name can be made to St. Cecilia's Church, 202 E. Lehman St., Lebanon, PA 17046. Miller Sr., Robert  
Robert G. Miller, Sr. Myerstown Robert G. Miller, Sr., 78, died Thursday, June 23, 2016 at his residence. He was the husband of Maeanna J. (Gettle) Miller, to whom he would have been married 57 years on November 28, 2016. Born in Richland on March 4, 1938, he was the son of the late J. Walter, Jr. and Ardella (Brightbill) Miller. Robert was employed at Quaker Alloy, Myerstown, for 41 years, retiring in 2000, and loved farming. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Susan, wife of Larry Hartranft of Bernville, Lori Ann, wife of Ronald Frey of Myerstown, Patricia, wife of George Shirey of Womelsdorf; sons, Robert G., Jr., husband of Donna Miller of Myerstown, Clark Miller of Myerstown; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Randy, husband of Barbara Miller of Myerstown. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Miller. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Little Swatara Church of the Brethren, 31 Rehrersburg Rd., Bethel, with a visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at the Frystown Cemetery. Walewski, Adam M.  
Adam M. Walewski Lebanon Adam M. Walewski, 25, passed away on June 20, 2016. Adam was born in Lebanon on February 20, 1991 to Richard S. and Susan G. Karb Walewski of Lebanon. Adam was a 2009 graduate of Cedar Crest High School where he played on the football team and also wrestled. He was a manager/entertainer with Pirates Unlimited and most recently had been employed by the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire in Manheim, along with Pirates Unlimited. Adam was an adventurous soul, fun loving and quick witted. He loved playing the parts Pirate, Flame Twirler, Blues Brother; that was him. He also enjoyed traveling, fishing, hiking, being outdoors, photography, cooking, playing bass guitar, and target shooting. Surviving in addition to his parents is a brother, Matthew R. Walewski of Lebanon; Godparents; also his aunt and uncle, Grace and Jerry Bekaert of Coatesville; Aunt Cathy Walewski of Coatesville, Aunt Marybeth; and Uncle Jon Shade of Bloomsburg; Aunt Anne and Uncle Pat Zelko of Bethlehem; Aunt Lori and Uncle John Karb of Bethlehem; cousins, Lisa Zelko, Patrick Zelko, Katie Zelko, Joe Bekaert, Justin Shade, Anthony Karb and Richard Karb. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, June 29 at 12 p.m. from The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, 2775 Lebanon Road, Manheim. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. There will be a visitation held with the family from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a Prayer service. Casual attire is appropriate for the memorial services. Weirich, Jean  
Jean B. Weirich Lickdale Jean B. Weirich, 92, formerly of Lititz, died Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon. She was the wife of Harold Weirich, who died in 1977. Born in Lickdale on March 1, 1924, she was the daughter of the late J. Lloyd and Edith (Batdorf) Bohn. A 1941 graduate of Jonestown High School, Jean earned a Bachelor's degree at the Carnegie Institute of Technology, her registered nursing license at the West Penn Hospital School of Nursing, and her Master's degree in education at Temple University. She served in the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps during World War II, and was employed as an anatomy and physiology instructor at the Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing, later becoming director of the school, and also as director of the Brandywine Hospital School of Nursing in Coatesville. Jean was a member of Salem Walmers Union Church, Annville, a life member and past president of the Pennsylvania Nurses Association, and a life member of the American Nurses Association. She is survived by a son, Michael, husband of Michelle Weirich of Lickdale; grandchildren, Josh Miller of Lititz, Aaron Miller of Selbyville, DE, Valerie Weirich of Marietta, Ina Spicer of Newmanstown; and great-grandchildren, Mandi, Mila, and Ian. She was preceded in death by a daughter, J. Patrice Miller in 1999. A viewing will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Salem Walmers Union Church, 25 Coulter Rd., Annville, followed by a brief service at 7 p.m. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at the Union Salem Evangelical Congregational Cemetery, Jonestown. Ronald M. Miller February 3, 1939 - June 22, 2016 Jonestown Ronald M. Miller, 77, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at his home. Born in Jonestown on February 3, 1939, he was the son of the late Walter and Miriam Yorty Miller. Ron retired from Union Twp., where he had been the Maintenance Supervisor. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and tinkering with just about anything and everything. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his daughter, Tammy L., wife of Steven C. Moyer of Jonestown; grandchildren, Hope Degler and her children, Gabrielle, Gwendalyn and Mitchell, Bridget, wife of Michael Lenich and their son, Brennan, and Brittany Berger; brothers, Warren and Ernest; sisters, Wilma, wife of Walter Knight, Carol Gish, Arlene, wife of Dewey Dove, Doris Hilbert, companion of Lawrence Fitch, Carlene Snyder, Sally, wife of Dayne Burrows, Donna Spitler and Sherry, wife of Ken Wanamaker. He was preceded in death by brothers, Gerald, Marvin, Raymond, David and Dean; and sisters, Mildred Kreiser and Evelyn Miller; great-grandson, Zachery Lenich. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 27, 11 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. Teresa A. Behney Cornwall Teresa A. Behney, 89, died Thursday, June 23, 2016 at home. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Donald A Behney. Born in Lebanon on December 12, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Eva Weisgerber. She was a 1945 graduate of Lebanon High School. She was a long time member of the Woman's Club of Lebanon and the Lebanon County Historical Society. She volunteered for many years with the Good Samaritan Auxiliary, and spent countless hours to benefit their annual street fair. She was a former member of Lebanon Country Club, where she was an avid golfer who scored two holes in one over her golfing career. Most recently she became a skilled player of Mahjong, a game she loved playing with her friends in Corson. Surviving Terry are her three daughters, Terryjean, wife of Thomas Jenkins of Pensacola, FL., Myrl, wife of Joseph Catelli of Abington, and Rebecca, wife of Charles Winiarski of Downingtown; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; a sister, Anna Wood of Lebanon. Her brother, Frank, preceded her in death. Services will be held on Saturday June 25, 2016 at 1:15 p.m. at the Levi Zerr Chapel of Cornwall manor, 1 Boyd Street, Cornwall. Interment is private. Lemons, Marian  
Marian Lemons Annville Marian Kleiser Lemons, 99, passed away June 20, 2016, at the Lebanon Valley Home in Annville. She was born on June 2, 1917, in Lebanon, the daughter of the late Ralph and Gertrude (Bressler) Kleiser. Except for short-term moves to Pittsburgh and New Jersey during the Depression, Marian lived the rest of her life in Lebanon County, including the City of Lebanon, Lawn and Palmyra. She was a member of Palm Lutheran Church and a past member of the Palmyra Garden Club. After retiring from Winthrop Laboratories in 1982, Marian put her considerable skills in sewing and needlework to use as a volunteer at Spang Crest, making blankets and afghans for those in need. She had a great curiosity about the world around her, which fueled a life-long joy in reading; the library was one of her favorite spots in Palmyra. Even when her vision deteriorated to the point of not being able to read books in print, she enjoyed audio books provided by the Society for the Blind. Marian loved spending time with family and friends, playing cards and games or just visiting. She enjoyed cooking and planned and prepared her own meals until the age of 95. Marian is survived by two children, George W. (Bill) Lemons, Jr. of Box Elder, S.D, and Susan Lemons Lasher of Palmyra; two grandchildren, Kristel Lasher Wisor of Altoona and Andrew Lemons of Seneca, S.C.; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Lemons, Sr.; her granddaughter, Dianne Lasher; and her sister, Christine Kleiser Keath. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of the Lebanon Valley Home, 550 East Main St., Annville, on Monday, June 27, 2016, at 2 p.m. The family will begin to receive guests at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Kimmerlings Cemetery, Avon. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Benevolent Fund of the Lebanon Valley Home, 550 East Main St., Annville, PA 17003 in memory of Marian Lemons.
