DeSantis, Pamela  
Pamela R. DeSantis Hershey Pamela Ruth (Hill) Carlew DeSantis, 88, of Traditions of Hershey, passed away on June 19, 2016, in the M.S.Hershey Medical Center. She was born January 13, 1928, in Covington, TN, daughter of the late Ben Lewis and Novella Hill as Pansy Ruth, but legally changed her name after moving to Pennsylvania in the 1950s. At age 11, she began working in her father's restaurants as a cook, cashier, hostess and waitress. Pam worked for 18 years at the Hersheypark Arena where she was the Box Office manager. After retirement, she worked part-time in marketing at the Hotel Hershey and as a customer service manager at Chocolate World. She also enjoyed reading, crocheting and needlework. Pamela is survived by 2 daughters, Barbara DeSantis Haas of Palmyra, and Cathryn Corlew in Plymouth, NC; 3 sons, Johnny Corlew of Viola, TN, Thomas Carlew of Halls, TN, and Lewis Corlew of Crestview, FL; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James F. DeSantis; daughters, Anna DeSantis Stuck and Virginia Carlew; son, Don Michael Corlew; brother, Billy Hill; and granddaughter, Kathy Haas. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at 11 AM in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory of Hershey. The family will begin receiving guests an hour prior to the service. Dechert, Richard "Dick"  
Richard "Dick" Dechert September 12, 1942 - June 17, 2016 Lebanon Richard "Dick" Dechert, 73, of Lebanon, PA, passed away at home on Friday, June 17, 2016. He was the husband of the late Joyce Marie George Dechert. He was born in Fredericksburg on September 9, 1942, a son of the late Homer Raymond and Myrtle Mae Small Dechert. Richard was a truck driver, retiring from ABF Trucking in Lebanon. He was a member of the Perseverance Fire Co., Jonestown; Mt. Zion Fire Co.; Fredericksburg American Legion; Liberty Marching Club; R. Field and Stream and enjoyed camping and attending Car Shows. He is survived by children, Kim Cool and husband Thomas of Jonestown; Jeanette Showers and husband Larry of Mt. Zion; Douglas Dechert and wife Tammy E. of Jonestown; Audrey Birster and husband John of Lebanon; Stephanie McAbee and husband Cody of Jonestown; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Leroy Dechert and wife Anna Mae of Lebanon; Joseph Dechert and wife Linda of Jonestown; Ralph Dechert of Lebanon; Earl Dechert and wife Cheryl of Missouri; sister, Betty Dechert of Myerstown. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Dechert. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 23rd at 7 PM in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, with a viewing on Thursday from 5 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 855 Tuck St., Suite 2, Lebanon, PA 17042.
