Blouch, Jay C.  
Jay C. Blouch PALMYRA Jay C. Blouch, 86, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014, in Hershey. He was the loving husband of Gladys Blouch, to whom he was married 64 years. Born December 24, 1927, he was a son of the late Norman and Sara Blouch. Mr. Blouch was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a boater, traveler, and a woodworker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings. Surviving Jay are his wife; daughters, Kathy Pyle and Betty Mock; grandchildren, Marcie, Trevor, Thea, and Tate; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Lucille Mae Bomberger LEBANON Lucille Mae Bomberger, 79, passed away on Monday in Hershey Medical Center. She was born April 28th, 1935 in Lebanon, a daughter of Charles J. Betz and Ethel Templin. Lucille was the wife of the late Eugene D. Bomberger. Mrs. Bomberger was a Floral Designer with Grumbine Florist for 10 years before retiring. She was a member of Calvary Church, Lebanon since 1954. Surviving are her children: Rev. Beverly A, wife of Robert J. Frank, Youngwood; Donald E, husband of June M. Bomberger, Lebanon; Fred C. Bomberger of Lebanon; Beth E, wife of Todd Lerch, Lebanon; grandchildren: Rebekah A. Alvino; Adam P. Bomberger; Rev. Rachel L. Frank; Amy J. Bomberger; Steffan Kiefer - Bomberger; Aaron E. Lerch; Zachery R. Lerch; Joshua L. Lerch; great grandchildren: Bryce A. Eisenhauer; Charlie M. Bomberger; Mannix D. and Reno J. Readinger. A funeral service will be held in her church, Calvary Chapel, 1330 Pennsylvania Ave. Lebanon, Pa. 17046 on Saturday, December 27th, 2014 at 10 a.m. with a viewing from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Kevin L. Boyer JONESTOWN Kevin L. Boyer, 58, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014, at the St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading. Born in Lebanon, on May 29, 1956, he was the son of the late Dorothy Boyer Werni. Kevin worked as a crane operator for Cambridge-Lee Industries in Reading. He was a member of the Kittatinny Hunting and Fishing Club. He enjoyed music, archery, fishing, and especially being in the outdoors. He is survived by his son, Adam P. Boyer of Jonestown; stepfather, Joel Werni of Jonestown; brothers, Todd T. Hartlieb of Jonestown, Timothy T. Hartlieb of Lebanon, and Joel D. Werni of Covington; stepbrother, Joseph Werni, Jr. of Watsontown; and a stepsister, Marie Leed of Lebanon. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 26, 2014, at 3 p.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 and Camp Meeting Road, Jonestown. Mildred S. Buck HARRISBURG Mildred S. Buck, 95, formerly of Palmyra passed away Monday, December 22, 2014, at the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg. Born March 27, 1919, in Hershey, she was a daughter of the late William and Stella (Landis) Sell. Retired from Hershey Foods Corporation with 38 years of service, she was a 1937 graduate of Hershey High School and attended The Bridge and the former Hummelstown Brethren in Christ Church. Surviving are her daughter, Norreda Foster of Roanoke, Va.; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by children, Raymond Buck, Sr. and Gloria Schuster; and sister, Blanche Sell. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, December 26, 2014 ,at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant St., Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 1 p.m. Interment will be in Hershey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Coleman, William C.  
William C. Coleman LEBANON William C. "Bill" Coleman, 86, of 1548 Oak St., went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, in his daughter's home in Lebanon, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Elsie M. Pickel Coleman, to whom he was married 67 years. Born in Lebanon, on May 2, 1928, he was the son of the late Charles S. Coleman and Irene Miller Coleman Kercher. Bill's life was committed to the Lebanon Rescue Mission and was directly involved for over 65 years serving as its Executive Director from 1984-2003. He attended the Mission Chapel services and taught Sunday School. He also led the Mission Sunday Morning Program on WLBR along with the Country Music Program. He most recently served as the Honorary Campaign Chairman to raise funds which led to the success of purchasing and renovating the new building on Bittner Blvd. Bill attended Lebanon High School, was a former member of Salem Lutheran Church, and presently a member of Jonestown Bible Church. In 2000, he received the Service to Mankind Award from the Lebanon Valley Sertoma Club. Bill will be remembered as a loving husband and father. Surviving are a daughter, Barbara, wife of David Arnold of Lebanon; a son, Ronald L., husband of Cheryl Coleman of Bellevue, Neb.; two sisters, Lorraine Fake of Lebanon, and June, wife of Ronald Long of Lebanon; two step-sisters, Cynthia Grier of Florida and Julia Ellis of Oregon; four grandchildren, David, Daryn, Amy, and Amanda; three great-grandchildren Joshua, Zachary, and Violet; four step great-grandchildren, Coy Jr., Daisy, Clara, and Alina; and two step great-great grandchildren, Braxton and Arilyn. He was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel Coleman; and two sisters, Betty Bours and Arlene Mark. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville, with the Rev. Joseph Catani officiating. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park. Viewing will be held on Monday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Lebanon Rescue Mission, 1223 Bittner Blvd., Lebanon, PA 17046 and on Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Culbert, Margaret L.  
Margaret L. Culbert PINE GROVE Margaret L. Culbert, 98, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014, in Providence Place, Pine Grove. Born on June 19, 1916, in Pine Grove Twp., she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Mary Greenawalt Lehman. Margaret was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove. She had been employed as a seamstress for various factories in Pine Grove and she loved gardening and quilting. Preceding her in death were her husband, William H. Culbert, on December 4, 2003; one grandson, Troy Spittler; a sister, Anna "Betty" Zimmerman; and two brothers, Marlin Lehman, Sr. and Ralph Lehman. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Jane, wife of Kerry Spittler, and a son, William Culbert, both of Pine Grove; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Arlene Winters of Myerstown, Charlotte Connors of Lebanon, and Delphine Huber of Pine Grove; and a brother, Eugene Lehman of Pine Grove. Services will be held at the H.L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove, on Saturday, December 27, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John Hassler officiating. There will be a viewing on Saturday, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove. The family would prefer in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the St. John's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 222 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, PA 17963, in her memory.

John W. D'Agostino, Jr. MYERSTOWN John W. D'Agostino, Jr., 76, of Myerstown, died Sunday, December 21, 2014 at his residence. He was the husband of Marilyn M. (Lindermuth) D'Agostino to whom he would have been married 53 years on June 30, 2015. Born in Pine Grove on February 26, 1938, he was the son of the late John W. Sr. and Sarah I. (Long) D'Agostino. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, John owned and operated D'Agostino's Variety Store and Barber Shop, Myerstown, for many years and had stores at Root's and the Leesport and Green Dragon Farmers Markets. He enjoyed spending time with his two grandchildren, watching football, and going to car shows. In addition to his wife, John is survived by a daughter, Gina, wife of David Daub, of Bethel; grandchildren, Caleb and Cabela Daub; sisters, Bonnie, wife of Richard Warner, of Myerstown, Barbara Burke, of Auburn; a brother, Joseph, husband of Elva D'Agostino, of Williamstown; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert D'Agostino. A graveside service with military honors will be held Friday, December 26, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. A procession will form at 10 a.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. Verna E. Funk TAMPA, FL Verna E. Funk, 94, formerly of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, December 18, 2014, in Woodbridge Nursing Home, Tampa, Fla. She was the wife of Levi A. Funk, who died in 1991. Born in Lancaster County, on March 13, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Levi and Frances Leedom Eckert. She was a retiree from the Kiss Department at Hershey Foods Corp. and was a member of Campbelltown United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Robert L. Funk and wife, Barbara of Tampa, Fla.; and four grandsons, Robert and wife, Denise, and sons, Matthew and Jonathan, Thomas, and wife, Tammi and daughter, Micah Daniel, and Michael and wife, Vasana. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Harold, Ralph, Mark, William, and Paul Eckert; and two sisters, Mary Greenawalt and Ruth Meyerhoffer. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2014, at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville, at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Denise Founds officiating. Betty J. Gordon VIRGINIA BEACH, VA Betty J. Gordon, 81, also known as "Booper", was born in Lebanon and passed away on December 15, 2014.
