Ganse, Karen Ann  
Karen Ann Ganse Pinehurst, NC Karen Ann Sullivan Ganse, 72, passed on to eternal rest July 26, 2016 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst NC. A Memorial service will be celebrated by Rev. Michael Leicha at St. Cecelia Church 11 a.m. September 10 in Lebanon. Mrs. Ganse was born December 11, 1943 in Lebanon to the late Thomas Sullivan and Leah Uhler Sullivan. She graduated from Lebanon Catholic High School in 1961. After raising two sons she developed a career in the Medical Records field concluding at St. Joseph of the Pines, Southern Pines NC. While there and under her supervision that institution always received the highest grades by the State Inspectors on their annual review. She was an avid bowler and competed at the State level in her earlier years. Her greatest joy came from the love of extended family and friends. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched. Her husband, Terry, always called her "Angel" and now she is the newest shining light among them. Karen is survived by her husband of 18 years, Terrence (Terry) Ganse; two sons, Jack Brucker and wife, Jennifer, Brian Brucker and lebensgefahrtin, Jennifer Meinke; granddaughter, Holly Leann Brucker; her brothers, Patrick Sullivan and wife, Joanne, Jack Sullivan and wife, Jeanette, and Daniel Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Leah Sullivan. A reception will be held immediately following the Mass in the Parish hall of St. Cecelia's Church located at 750 State Dr. Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony's Church 175 E. Connecticut Avenue Southern Pines, NC 28387 or First Health Hospice Foundation 150 Applecross Road Pinehurst, NC 28374.

Getz, Holly  
Holly A. Getz Lebanon Holly Getz, 64, was called Home on August 19, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Randall Getz with whom she recently celebrated 47 years of marriage. She was born January 1952 to the late Dr. Robert and Ethel Long. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Lebanon and the Women's Club. For 40 years she enjoyed working as a Meals on Wheels driver. "Her people" looked forward to their daily visit from Holly as she truly cared about their well being. Having the gift of encouragement, upon retirement, she started to visit shut ins. Holly also enjoyed cooking and baking, drives with her husband in his convertible, and cheering on her daughter and grandchildren at their events. She loved to collect angels, from postcards to figurines. Every greeting card she sent was signed the same way, "Angels All Around You" She is survived by son, Gerald, husband of Kristi Getz; daughters, Jennifer and Melanie; two grandchildren, Garrett and Kadee, all of Lebanon; sister, Joan Van Winkle of West Chester; brother, George Long of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Long and his wife, Nancy. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Lebanon, 20 Linden Road. Friends and Family are encouraged to wear an angel pendant or clothing in remembrance of Holly. Graveside committal will follow the service at 1 at Mount Lebanon Cemetery on Maple Street, Lebanon.
