Anita L. Marks MYERSTOWN Anita L. Marks, 73, of Myerstown, died Friday, April 25, 2014 at StoneRidge Towne Centre, Myerstown. She was the wife of Norman G. Marks, to whom she would have been been married 57 years on June 8. Born November 14, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Ray L. and Ruth E. Brecht Yeakley. She had been the office manager for N. G. Marks Agency, Myerstown for 45 years, retiring in 2011. She also enjoyed window designing at Newberry's Department Store, Portsmouth, New Hampshire and for many years, she managed Lessig's Store, Myerstown. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Stouchsburg, where she had been a Sunday School teacher for many years. She attended Myerstown High School and many continuing education courses in accounting. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Conrad Weiser Chapter # 449; Council of Indian Nations; Pipestone Indian Shrine; Crazy Horse Memorial Foundation's Grass Roots Club; National Rifle Assn.; and a former member of the PA Society of Public Accountants, National Assn. of Tax Professionals and the National Society of Tax Preparer's. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Cherie, wife of Carl Lutz, of Myerstown and Gina, wife of Thomas Tuncil, of Myerstown; grandchildren, Abbey L. Mays, Justin L. Lutz, Ryan L. Lutz, Jason T. Tuncil and Justin M. Tuncil; great grandchildren, Holden T. Mays and Miranda J. Mays; brother, Gerald L. Yeakley, of Myerstown; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 2, 2014 at 3 p.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. Viewing Friday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Order of the Eastern Star service at 1 p.m. Interment at Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Stouchsburg.
