Carl O. Miller

Carl O. Miller ANNVILLE Carl O. Miller, 88, died Saturday March 1, 2014 in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Berneice Duborow Miller to whom he was married 58 years. Born in Annville on May 25, 1925, he was the son of the late Oscar C. and Della Rice Miller. He was employed as a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, Annville. Carl was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WW II, a 1943 graduate of Annville High School, attended Pennsylvania State University, and was a past commander of the Annville American Legion Post 559. He was a co-founder of the Annville-Cleona Pool, served as Chairman of the Board of the Annville-Cleona Recreation Association, and was on the the Board of Boy Scout Troop 40 and Cub Scout Pack 53. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons. Michael C. Miller of Libertyville, Illinois, Noble A. Miller of Annville; a daughter. Stephanie J., wife of Rob Clark of Palmyra; a sister, Marilyn Daubert of Annville; and two grandchildren. Corbin and Deanna. He was preceded in death by three sisters Beatrice Grimm, Gladys Howe, and Phyllis Spangler. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Grand View Memorial Park with Full Military Honors.
