Christine M. Plank

Christine M. Plank GARDNERS Christine Marie Plank, 46, died in the Hershey Medical Center on Tuesday, November 13, 2012. She was born in Lebanon, on May 22, 1966, to Theresa Hain Morgan of Mt. Holly Springs and the late Jack Morgan. Christine is survived by her loving husband, Todd Plank; a sister, Nicole Andrews and her husband Mark of Hershey (Lawn); and thirteen nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Jacqueline Morgan. Christine graduated from Cedar Crest High School, Lebanon, in 1984 and later earned a degree in Dental Hygiene in 1991 from Northampton Community College, Bethlehem. Her loyal, conscientious and meticulous work ethic served her well as a hygienist for Bruce Spivak Dentistry. Creatively talented, Christine was not limited by anything when it came to crafting. She enjoyed many crafts including sewing, crocheting, basket weaving, cooking, making jewelry and recently added pottery to her long list of hobbies. Always a smile on her face and a giving spirit in her heart, she doted on her nieces, nephews, and her own two "children" (Pugs), Puggie and Sophie. Christine was a sweet, caring person that positively influenced many people on a daily basis with her shining personality and warmth. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 7 p.m. in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with longtime family friend Pastor Deborah Westbrook officiating. There will be a visitation prior to the service from 4 to 7 p.m. Refreshments and a time of fellowship will follow the service at the Mt. Holly Springs United Methodist Church, 202 W. Butler St. A private burial will take place in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: 1) The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 2405 Park Drive, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110, 2) Citizens Fire Company #1, 100 Chestnut St., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065, or 3) Yellow Breeches EMS, 233 Mill St., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065. The families would like to thank everyone for their caring thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
